About Julie Duncan Art

Born in Newcastle Australia, Julie made New Zealand and Eastern Southland home over 35 years ago. it’s a community she is proud to be a part of.

 

You will see much of her collection is inspired by the region, from the rugged mountains, vast skies to the bold and bright flowers in her current spring garden.

Art and family have been the constant in Julie's life, She is self-taught and is learning as much today as she has over the years, as time has evolved so has her style.

​

Julie believes in the importance of giving back and has been tutoring, mentoring, and teaching for over 20 years, watching others discover their talent is as rewarding as finishing her own paintings.

 

Julies work is spread right across the south and the country and she is truly humbled that the art she decides to create finds its way into the hearts and homes of others to enjoy.
